Chuck and Larry met several years ago when Chuck hired Larry to design a website for The Scotia Inn - a small hotel Chuck runs in the California Redwoods. The two worked so well together, that they eventually decided to open a webhosting business. Their webhosting venture, based on the principle of providing "fanatical customer service", proved successful and helped Larry and Chuck to refine their vision of what an Internet Company should be.
